With the Database Manager graphical user interface, you can create a brand new database in no time - simply specify its name and that's it. You will notice a list of all your databases and their respective sizes. You will be able to alter passwords, to create backup files and to even log in to the phpMyAdmin and phpPgAdmin database administration tools.
Simple Database Backups
It is quite essential to create regular backups of your DBs to secure your website content and to steer clear of any incidental data loss. With the Database Manager user interface, creating a database backup is very easy. Just click on the Backup icon next to the database you want to back up and you will be immediately taken to the File Manager section from where you can download your newly created backup file.
MySQL and PgSQL Databases
The number of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL DBs that you can set up varies based on the shared hosting package that you have with us.
